This year, I experienced a moment every writer’s dream of—seeing my books proudly displayed at a book fair. It was a surreal and deeply rewarding experience to witness my work reaching readers in such a lively and inspiring setting.
My published works, a series of books titled “A the Ruler,” “E the Ruler,” “I the Ruler,” “O the Ruler,” “U the Ruler,” and “The Ruler Family,” were showcased at the prestigious YMCA Book Fair, one of the most anticipated literary events of the year. These books, which are close to my heart, focus on teaching CVC words in a creative and engaging way. Having them displayed alongside works from so many talented authors was an honor I will cherish forever.
The book fair was a vibrant hub filled with readers, writers, and book lovers of all ages. Seeing visitors pick up my books, flip through the pages, and show genuine interest was incredibly fulfilling. One of the most memorable moments was when the parent of a young reader approached me to share how much their child loved reading “A the Ruler.” Knowing my books are making a difference in young readers’ lives filled me with immense joy and pride.
Being part of the book fair gave me the invaluable opportunity to connect directly with readers and receive heartfelt feedback. It also reminded me of the incredible power of stories to bring people together. This experience reaffirmed my commitment to writing and sharing meaningful content that inspires and educates.
This milestone has motivated me to work even harder on my next projects. I’m excited to delve into new ideas, including creating workbooks and grammar books to complement my series and help children develop stronger reading and writing skills.Seeing my books at the YMCA Book Fair was truly a dream come true. It’s a reminder that every step in the writing journey—no matter how challenging—is worth it. If you’ve read my books or plan to, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s continue to keep the love for stories alive and growing!
